Our Impact
Building Purposeful Workplaces: The Legacy of Giving Back is in Our Family DNA
In the 1950’s June Lillian embarked on her journey to Alice Springs to provide every child with an equal opportunity to access early childhood education.
She was one of the first teachers to admit Indigenous Australians into the Northern Territory’s first purpose-built preschool in Alice Springs. She then played an instrumental role in establishing Headstart, an education program for indigenous children in Townsville. Later, she was the Director of Education International in Papua New Guinea, where she was responsible for working with the PNG Government to establish the education curriculum program for preschool, primary, and high school students throughout all of PNG, as well as the first teacher’s college course at the local Teachers College in Port Moresby.
On return to Australia, June Lillian returned to her passion for teaching in Bundaberg. She was also awarded an Australia Day Citizen Award for establishing Queensland’s first dedicated playground for children with disabilities.
Unleashing the Power of Purpose and Giving Back
It All Started with a Coffee: Empowering Communities with 100% for the Community
At Reunion Café, Brent and Russell sat down for a cup of coffee and ignited a revolutionary idea that would reshape the way Exeden would operate. We both believed in doing what we were truly passionate about and excelled at while also embracing our responsibility to the community. We understand that to sell purpose, we have to act with purpose. Inspired by the remarkable June Lillian Kronenburg, we made a bold commitment: to donate 100% of our annual dividends to organisations dedicated to uplifting disadvantaged or underrepresented talent in our community.
At Exeden, our purpose is crystal clear: We exist to inspire commitment and action, creating workplaces where purpose thrives. We are on a mission to accelerate purpose-led organisations, propelling them towards unprecedented success both economically and socially.
Driving Change, One Dividend at a Time
100% of Dividends Donated or Invested - that's our unwavering commitment. We understand that true progress begins at the grassroots level. That's why we support local charities and social ventures that tackle causes close to our hearts and fuel the creation of diverse and inclusive workplaces. By investing in these initiatives, we empower communities to address their unique obstacles and opportunities head-on.
Partnering for Impact: Building Trust, Creating Connections
We strongly believe in deep partnerships built on trust. Our selected charities and social ventures know their communities intimately, understanding the challenges and aspirations within. We entrust them with the power to make a difference. But our commitment doesn't stop at a mere financial transaction. We establish meaningful two-way relationships, offering ongoing support through volunteering, celebrating milestones, and facilitating connections. Together, we forge a path towards progress.

Areas of Focus: Paving the Way for Equity
We invest in four key causes that have touched our lives personally. These causes form the bedrock for equity, ensuring that underrepresented and under-supported talent finds their rightful place in the spotlight. Our areas of focus include Indigenous children's literacy, defence veterans, women facing hardship, and talented people with a disability. Through our unwavering dedication, we aim to create a level playing field where every individual can thrive and contribute their unique gifts to the world.

We support the Indigenous Literacy Foundation because literacy in a child's first language is essential for building context, comprehension, and understanding. Unfortunately, many Indigenous children lack access to books, leading to severe impacts. June, Russell's mother, played a pioneering role in Indigenous education. From admitting Indigenous Australians into the first preschool in Alice Springs to establishing the Headstart program in Townsville, her legacy lives on. As the Director of Education International in Papua New Guinea, she contributed to establishing the education curriculum program for all students in PNG. We proudly honour her legacy by supporting the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.

We are proud to support the Go Girls Foundation, an organisation that shares our commitment to challenging societal norms and fostering a more equitable world. Through its incredible success and passion, Go Girls enables long-term unemployed women to become work-ready, empowers women who have experienced domestic violence to achieve independence, assists migrant women who have faced social isolation to engage with their communities and helps women who have experienced homelessness overcome their circumstances. Go Girls' focus on creating long-lasting, sustainable impacts has changed countless women's lives forever. We are privileged to partner with Go Girls on this transformative journey towards a brighter future for women everywhere.

At Exeden, our commitment to supporting Defence Veterans is rooted in personal experience and a drive for societal progress. Our founder, Russell, served as an Officer in the Australian Army and witnessed firsthand the sacrifices made by the brave men and women who serve our country and the unique challenges veterans face when transitioning into civilian life including the struggle to find meaningful employment.
By funding programs that help tap into veterans’ unique skill set in leadership, strategic thinking, and resilience, we aim to minimise the high number of suicides experienced by the veteran community and create a future where veterans are given the respect, support, and opportunities they deserve.

Almost 1 in 5 people in Australia have a disability, and the labour force participation rate for people with disability aged 15–64 years is 53.4%, compared to 84.1% of people the same age without disability. So, supporting people with a disability is not only critically important but there are also significant economic and business benefits that come with it. Brent, our founder, has a deep commitment to this cause, serving as a Non-Executive Director for the Raising Children Network, COO for Murdoch Children Research Institute and Baptcare, and creating Averee, the worlds fist shopping destination dedicated to enhancing the retail experience for people with disabilities and aging effects. Inspired by personal experience. At Exeden, the benefit of inclusive workplaces that reflect society is part of what we do, so it makes sense we continue to support such an important case through investment n initiatives and charities that focus on closing the gap in workforce participation between people with disability and people without disability.
